외국인에게 사천, 삼천포를 소개하려면?

사천군과 삼천포시의 명칭은 아주 오래 되었고 그런 만큼 사천시로 통합된 지금도 예전처럼 사천과 삼천포를 구별하여서 많이 사용하고 있습니다.

그런데도 행정구역상으로 주소 상으로 사천과 삼천포를 어울러서 사천시로 사용하고 있죠.

이런 구별법은 현지인인 우리들에게도 때론 어색하니, 외국인들에게는 종종 혼란을 가져올 것이 분명합니다.

So, May 10th of that year, two districts were unified and became Saceon city as a whole.

Because of this confusing history, we call that southern part Samcheonpo informally but being called Sacheon as administrative district
