정몽주의 시조를 외국인에게 소개한다면?

세계인이 되고 세계화가 된다는 건 외국의 것을 배우는 것 만으로는 부족한 것 같습니다.

나를 알고 나와 그들이 소통하는 것이 더 중요한 것 같습니다.

그래서 오늘은 우리의 정서를 잘 품고 있는 시조 하나를 외국인에게 소개하는 시간을 가져 보겠습니다.

Have you ever heard about Si-Zo?

It's like Shakespeare's sonnet in Korean.

It has rhyme and rhythm

If you don't mind I want to introduce it to you.

It goes like,

이몸이 죽고 죽어 일백번 고쳐죽어

백골이 진토되어 넋이라도 있고 없고

임 향한 일편단심이야 가실 줄이 있시랴.

The meaning of this poem is to represent Korean traditional value.

This is love for the kingdom, love for the king and the people.

Now I will summarize the meaning of the phrase.

When I die again and again

Even my bone to be the earth and my spirit seperated  like a fog

But my love for Him shall never disappear.
